Saddle Brook Community Remembers Andrew Gutierrez, 15
Gutierrez committed suicide, according to a report. His parents said they don't know what happened.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ — Andrew Gutierrez was an honors student, a gifted athlete and a cook.
But the 15-year-old Saddle Brook High School sophomore ended his life and his family and friends remembered him at a vigil at Veterans Field in his honor Monday. He died Friday.
His sister Jackie Gutierrez said her brother was "so kind" and that she never saw him yell at anybody, NorthJersey.com reported.

His father Frank Gutierrez said his son was a "golden child" and told the crowd that "we don't know what happened." He said to everyone assembled that they are "special" and "precious," according to the report.
Gutierrez was a winter and spring track athlete and ran cross-country in the fall, all while maintaining straight As in honor classes. He loved to go skiing and camping, his obituary states.

He planned on majoring in Information Technology in college.
Gutierrez is survived by his parents, Frank & Kathy, sisters Emily and Jackie and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
