Saddle Brook Police Find Juvenile Author Of Threatening Online Post
The youngster 'cried his eyes out' when confronted by authorities, police said.

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — Police have determined that a township juvenile was the author of an threatening message posted on YouTube this past weekend.
The juvenile allegedly posted a comment on a YouTube video that was met with a K9 search and police presence at an elementary school, authorities told The Daily Voice. The video has since been taken down.
Detective John Tritto conducted "an exhaustive and diligent" search for the author of the comment.

"Our assessment is that it was never intended to be a real threat, but rather a more joking like comment," said Chief John Kugler.
Local administrators were advised of the post and will prepare their own "appropriate response" regarding the juvenile, Kugler said.

The chief reiterated to local parents that they should monitor their children's internet presence, and "guide and supervise it accordingly."
