Saddle Brook Resident Sworn In As River Edge Police Officer

Zach Hamm is a graduate of the Passaic County Police Academy's Alternate Route Program.

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — Resident Zach Hamm was sworn in as an officer with the River Edge Police Department Thursday.

Hamm is a graduate of the Passaic County Police Academy's Alternate Route Program.

River Edge Mayor Ed Mignone administered the oath of office. Police Chief Thomas Cariddi pinned Hamm's badge to his uniform, police said.

"Congratulations and best wishes for continued success for River Edge Officer Zach Hamm and his family," Saddle Brook police said in a post on the department's Facebook page.
