Here's How Much Haddonfield, Haddon Teachers Are Paid

The state released information of teachers' median salaries for the 2019-20 school year.

The median salaries for teachers in the Haddonfield and Haddon Township public school districts have increased since last year, according to data recently released by the state ahead of the 2019-20 school year.

The Haddon Township Public School District pays teachers a median salary of $60,460, which is 8.99 percent more than last year, when it was $55,474. The district ranks No. 461 in the state for salaries.

The Haddonfield Public School District pays teachers a median salary of $55,736, which is 0.38 percent more than last year, when it was $55,525. The district ranks No. 565 in the state for salaries.

The state median is $68,985, a 1.6 percent increase over last year. Overall, 232 school districts pay more than the state median.

The released information is part of the state Department of Education's Taxpayer's Guide to Education Spending that was just released, showing the median salary in every New Jersey school district and charter school.

In addition to median salaries, the site also shows each district's total spending, average daily enrollment and students from sending districts, the per-pupil costs and the district's total budget spending for 2018 and 2019.

Haddon Township spent a total of $42,062,431 in the 2017-18 school year, at a cost of $20,626 per pupil. The student to teacher ratio is 12:3.

Haddonfield spent a total of $44,940,583 in the 2017-18 school year, at a cost of $16,532 per pupil. The student to teacher ratio is 12:7.
