Hoboken Trader Joe’s Countdown Begins: When Does It Open?

HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hoboken Trader Joe’s countdown continues. And in case you were wondering, as of Friday, there is now officially less than a month left until the grand opening of the long-awaited grocery store chain’s new digs in the Mile Square City.

The Hoboken location at the corner of 14th Street and Willow Avenue will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 19. There will be an opening-day celebration that includes food demonstrations, giveaways and the company’s trademark “ceremonial lei-cutting,” according to a company news release.

The 11,700 square feet store will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, the company stated.
