• Manasquan man charged in the theft of political signs in Point Pleasant Borough (nj.com subscription) — A 67-year-old Manasquan resident has been charged with stealing political signs from several Point Pleasant Borough properties, following complaints that began in early September. Police say he faces two disorderly persons theft counts and a November municipal court date, while reminding residents that political disagreements can't justify tampering with anyone's campaign materials.
