August 13, 2018 Middletown Planning Board Meeting

This is a video of the meeting held on August 13

This meeting was conducted to determine if the newly developed Planned Development is consistent with the Township Master Plan or designed to effectuate a purpose of the Master Plan.
The law states that it does not require public input during this process, but is left up to the Planning Board. On advice from the Planning Board Attorney, acting Chairman of the Planning Board, Carl Rathjen, decided that there will be no public input at this time and directed the members of the public to address their questions to the Township Committee during the public hearing, on August 20, before the adoption of this ordinance.
At the previous Township Committee, when this ordinance was introduced, the public was instructed to address all of their questions to the Planning Board .
