Bus/Jeep Crash Tuesday Night In Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A Jeep collided with an Academy bus Tuesday evening at Leonardville Road and Hosford Avenue in Middletown.

The crash occurred at about 7:30 p.m. The bus was empty except for the driver, and the Jeep had two occupants. All three people were transported to Riverview Medical Center by Middletown First Aid & Rescue Squad with minor injuries, according to Bob Pfleger, the public information officer for the Middletown EMS department.

Leonardville Road was closed for a period of time until the Jeep could be cleared from the intersection.
