Elections 2018: Ballots Set For Moorestown Voters This Fall
Four candidates will seek two open seats on Moorestown Council on Nov. 6.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The ballot is set for Moorestown voters come this fall. Four candidates are running for two open, four-year seats on Moorestown Council come the Nov. 6 general elections.
Deputy Mayor Manny Delgado is running for re-election, but Mayor Stacey Jordan has decided not to seek another term on council. She said she is “stepping back,” although she will still be involved in Moorestown.
Delgado’s running mate will be Republican Jamie Boren. They will face Democrats Nicole Gillespie and Brian Donnelly this fall. Each set of candidates ran unopposed in Tuesday’s primaries.

The Third Congressional District race is also set, with incumbent Republican Tom MacArthur set to face a challenge from Democrat Andy Kim, an ex-National Security Council official and ex-U.S. Diplomat. MacArthur was first elected to Congress in 2014.
There are no independent candidates, and MacArthur and Kim were both unopposed in Tuesday’s primaries.
The district consists of 36 towns in Burlington County and 17 towns in Ocean County.

Locally, Burlington County Clerk Tim Tyler, a Republican, will run for re-election against Democrat Joanne Schwartz.
Incumbent Republican Freeholders Kate Gibbs and Linda Hughes will run against Democrats Felicia Hopson and George Youngkin.
