GA3 WITH THE NEW YORK HORNS TO PLAY WESTFIELD JAZZ FEST TONIGHT
Longtime Westfield resident Glenn Alexander to appear at Sweet Sounds Downtown with GA3 with the New York Horns
GA3 with the New York Horns - a five-piece band that plays soul, blues, funk and jazz and features longtime Westfield resident Glenn Alexander on guitar - will make its first-ever appearance at Westfield’s 18th Annual Sweet Sounds Downtown Jazz Festival tonight, Tuesday, July 29th. GA3 will perform from 7-9pm in front of 127 Central Avenue.
With its frequent shows in the tri-state area and regularly scheduled webcasts, GA3 - which features Alexander on guitar, Tom Seguso on Drums and Tony Tino on bass - has developed a loyal following of fans of funky, rockin’ blues. Originally formed as a trio, the band now performs with five players and will be joined tonight by John Isley on saxophone and Chris Anderson on trumpet. Both are founding members of the New York Horns, a band in which Alexander is also a member. Most of the band, including Alexander, currently tours with Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. All of the players have impeccable pedigrees, withmembers having performed and recorded with many greats of the jazz, rock and blues worlds.
GA3 with the New York Horns promises to rock Westfield tonight with two hours of groove-filled soul, blues, funk and jazz. GA3 will be performing in front of 127 Central Avenue in Westfield (near Banana Republic), from 7-9pm. The event is free and open to all ages.
