Teen Roof Trespassers Arrested in Westfield: Police

Two bikes stolen, one arrested for DWI and two arrested for marijuana possession and more occurred last week in Westfield: blotter

Westfield, NJ -- Two teens were arrested for trespassing on the roof of a building in Westfield, police report.

Austin Hall, 18, of Westfield and Adam Lukowski, 19, of Rahway were both arrested and charged with defiant trespassing on May 25 at 11:30 p.m.

The arrests came after an investigation of people on the rooftop of a building in the 100 block of East Broad Street, police report.

Both subjects were processed and released on summonses.

On May 20 at 6:17 p.m.: A resident of the 900 block of Boulevard reported being the victim of a theft. Unknown actors stole the victim's bicycle described as a Raleigh brand, dark blue colored, bicycle, valued at approximately $600 from the South Side train station.

On May 20 at 6:26 p.m.: A resident of the 600 block of Dorian Road reports being the victim of theft. Unknown actors stole the victim's bicycle described as a blue and black Mongoose brand Mountain bicycle valued at approximately $150 from the South Side train station.

On May 22 at 8:58 p.m.: Officers McCarthy and Savnic arrested Enrique Lopez, 26, of 218 Hillcrest Avenue Plainfield for driving while intoxicated pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of West Broad Street and Rahway Avenue. He was transferred to headquarters where he was processed and released to a sober adult.

On May 23 at 4:03 p.m.: Officer Desiato arrested Evan Arbitsman of Westfield at headquarters on the strength of two active warrants issued by the Westfield Municipal Court. Total amount bail is $90. He was processed and released after posting full bail.

On May 24 at 5:42 p.m.: Officers Desiato and Jarkus arrested Jennifer Donovan, 38, of Scotch Plains on an outstanding criminal warrant for $75 out of Hillside Municipal Court pursuant to the motor vehicle stop on Elm Street at East Dudley Avenue. She was transported to headquarters processed and released on posted bail.

On May 24 at 12:19 a.m.: Offices Martinez and Forcenito arrested Quagmire Foreman, 20, of Cranford Avenue, Linden for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of East Broad and North Avenue. He was transferred to headquarters where he was processed and released.

On May 25 at 1:40 a.m.: Officers Forcenito and Bagan arrested Celeste M. Williams, 39 of Brooklyn, N.Y. subsequent to the motor vehicle stop for possession of under 50 grams of suspected marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transferred to Westfield Police Department processed and released on a summons.

On May 25 at 5:42 p.m.: Officers Desiato and Jackus arrested Jennifer Donovan, 38, of Scotch Plains subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for an outstanding warrant issued by Hillside Municipal Court with bail set at $75. She was transported to Westfield Police Department processed and released after posting full cash bail.
