Video Shows Man Connected To Recent Plainfield Shooting: Police
Police are trying to identity this person of interest shown in video in connection with the Dec 29 homicide of Shamar Coleman in Plainfield.

PLAINFIELD, NJ -- Do you know this man? The Union County Prosecutor's Office is attempting to identify the individual depicted in this video as a person of interest in connection with the Dec. 29 homicide of Shamar Coleman.
Coleman, 32, of Plainfield was shot at a restaurant on the 1000 block of East Second Street in Plainfield on 5:45 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His death marked the 12th homicide in the city for 2016.
Police point out the distinctive clothing being worn by the individual.

This incident is now under joint investigation by the Union County Homicide Task Force, Plainfield Police Division, Union County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit, and Union County Police Department Ballistics Unit.
