Westfield HS Students Collect 2,900 Pounds of Food
Students were presented with the Students Change Hunger award, making Westfield High School the Division Six winner of the campaign

Westfield, NJ -- Almost 3,000 pounds of food was collected by a team of student volunteers from Westfield High School and donated Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
The Westfield students were presented with the Students Change Hunger award -- making Westfield High School the Division Six winner of the campaign, with more donations than Rutgers, Seton Hall, Kean University and other large educational institutions.
A total of 2,918 pounds of food was collected.

In addition, Westfield was named Second Runner-Up Heavy Weight – bringing in the third most of all 65 schools participating.
Upon accepting the award, Cole Feltman, one of three original food campaign volunteers at WHS, stated, “I am very proud of our group, and I speak for all of us when I say: We love helping those in need.”
