Another Possible Drug Overdose Averted With Naloxone In Essex County: Police
Naloxone, also sold under the brand name Narcan, has reportedly saved several lives in Essex County in the recent past.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Montclair police officers managed to revive a local man from a possible drug overdose last weekend, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers arrived at Trinity Place on Aug. 28 to find a 51-year-old Montclair man suffering from a possible “drug overdose.” The officers administered Naloxone to the man, successfully reviving him, authorities said.
Since becoming a relatively common item in North Jersey police officer’s toolkits, the use of Naloxone – also sold under the brand name Narcan – has reportedly saved several lives in Essex County. Read about some of the reported saves below.
