Led by a potent offensive attack and stellar pitching by Freshman Steph Thomas, the Blue Eagles defeated Indian Hills 7-1 to take home the Bergen County softball championship. IHA's county title win total is now at seven, giving them a lead over Ramapo and Ramsey who each have five apiece. The team now turns its attention to the North Non-Public A bracket where they received the No. 1 seed and have a bye until the second round, where they will play the winner of Roselle Catholic and St. Dominic at home on May 31.
