Coming off Tuesday's dominating 15-1 dismantling of St. Dominic's, the Blue Eagles went into Friday's third round game against Mount St. Dominic ready to show their dominance yet again. owned an early 4-0 lead thanks to the bat of Carly Piccinich who went three for five with two RBI and a stolen base. But Mount St. Dominic would not lay down clawing back and scoring three runs in the fifth and becoming the first team to score three runs on IHA all season. But Blue Eagles pitcher Steph Thomas would not let this victory slip away from her team, striking out two of the final four batters giving IHA the 5-3 victory and a spot in the sectionals to be played Tuesday at Seton Hall University.
