Despite wind that gusted 40 mph and temperatures in the 30s, Westwood’s Softball Association opened its season with an exhibition game on Saturday. Along with the introduction of teams and coaches, players, fans and league officials honored long time board member and coach Mike McLaughlin for his years of dedication and service to the league.
