Ahead of Nationals, Mepham Kickline to Compete This Weekend
Bellmore-Merrick kickline team continues to excel as national competition looms.

The Wellington C. Mepham High School kickline team is on a successful winter run, taking home medals in three categories at the Scholastic Kickline Competition on Feb. 1.
The squad took first place in Pom, second place in Jazz and third place in Open at the contest held at Nassau Community College. Last month, the dancers kicked their way to second-place honors in Pom, Jazz and Open. The Scholastic Kickline Championships host competitions for middle school, JV, varsity and college dance teams in multiple divisions.
Mepham’s next competition at Nassau Community College is scheduled for March 1. Then the team is off to Orlando, Florida, for the NDA Nationals on March 5.
