Mt Kisco, Chappaqua's Snowstorm: Forecast for Sunday

We let you know what you can expect

The snowstorm that crippled much of the East Coast will be gone (and good riddance).

The good news is that on Sunday temperatures will be in the mid 30s and skies will be mostly sunny.

The bad news is that everyone has to clean up. And there’s quite a bit to clean up. According to the National Weather Service, Armonk had 5.8 inches dumped on it by 1:30 p.m. and Yorktown had had 7.5 inches.

Dealing with power issues, Con Ed advises:

DO NOT touch a fallen power line or any other electrical equipment. Keep children and pets away from all fallen wires. If you see downed power lines or fallen wires please contact ConEd immediately at 1-800-75-CONED (1-800-752-6633).

If a power line falls on a car or vehicle you’re in, don’t get out, and don’t touch anything outside it. The vehicle’s rubber tires will provide insulation and protect you until help arrives. Wait for police, fire, or emergency service workers.

DO NOT touch or try to fix any power lines, electrical equipment, or wires on your own. If you notice a problem, call 1-800-75-CONED (1-800-752-6633).
