Man Robs 3 Long Island Banks in a Week: Police
The man was arrested Friday following his latest robbery, police say.
A homeless man was arrested Friday after police said he robbed three Suffolk County banks over the span of one week.
According to authorities, Vincent Allen, 30, robbed a Commack bank Friday, a Riverhead bank Tuesday and a Patchogue bank Saturday, April 23.
Allen was charged with three counts of third-degree robbery. He was held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.
