Deer Park's 'Little Elves' Visit Nursing Home
High school students visit Our Lady of Consolation Nursing and Rehabilitative Care Center.

Students from the Deer Park High School’s SADD Club, Red Cross Club, Fight Against Bullying Club and student council, collectively dubbed the “Little Elves,” visited Our Lady of Consolation Nursing and Rehabilitative Care Center in West Islip last month to decorate the doors of the patients for the holidays and provide holiday spirit.
“The students enjoyed meeting the ladies and gentlemen of Our Lady of Consolation, and chatting and laughing with them,” said SADD adviser Janet Werner. “The entire group sang Christmas carols in the auditorium to the delight of everyone.”
