Suburban Millennial Jobs Conference Coming to Hofstra
Conference set for March 13 and will address the next generation's role in Long Island commerce.

Hofstra University will host a Suburban Millennial Jobs Conference this spring.
Set for March 13, the conference will bring together panelists from different professions to discuss the the future for America’s largest, most educated generation.

In 10 years, “millennials,” or anyone born between 1980 and the early 2000s, will comprise 75 percent of the workforce. The issue will be keeping those millennials on Long Island to grow its commerce.

“We are so happy to have the Suburban Millennial Jobs Conference at Hofstra,” stated Lawrence Levy, Executive Dean for the National Center for Suburban Studies. “We are proud to highlight the importance of public and private sector employment as well as showcase entrepreneurship here on Long Island.”
