East Hampton Town Police Officer to Retire After 20 Years
The department announced on Friday one of their longtime officers will be retiring.

The East Hampton Town Police Department announced that Police Officer Joseph Markowski will be retiring after 20 years working for the department.
During his career, he served as a Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Armorer, Child Safety Seat coordinator, and Department Property Officer.
“His presence will be missed, and the entire Department wishes him all the best for a long, healthy and enjoyable retirement,” a message on the East Hampton Town Police Department Facebook page read.
