Firefighters Put Out Fire at Unoccupied Home in Montauk
The fire was reported on Saturday morning.

The Montauk Fire Department responded to a fire at an unoccupied home on Old West Lake Drive on Saturday, 27east reports.
At about 10:45 a.m., the fire started in the basement of the house and then reached the first floor, according to 27east.

After a neighbor called saying they saw smoke coming out of the house, firefighters arrived by 11 a.m. and put out the fire by 11:30 a.m., saving the house with no injuries reported, according to 27east.
