Judge to Announce Verdict in Rape Trial on Wednesday

Suffolk County Judge Barbara Kahn will announce her verdict at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29 in the trial of an investment banker charged with raping a 20-year old woman in his East Hampton rental home in 2013.

The non-jury trial began April 8.

Jason Lee, 38, is charged with first degree rape, sexual misconduct and third degree assault in the third degree.

Lee allegedly raped the victim in the bathroom of the Clover Leaf Lane residence on his 37th birthday, August 20, 2013.

He is free on $100,000 bail.
