The Montauk Fire Department hosted their annual โSwearing in of Chiefs and Line Officersโ event on New Yearโs Day last week.
At the event, Montauk Fire Department Chaplain Bill Hoffman conducted the Opening Prayer.

Afterwards, Richard Monahan was sworn in as Commissioner at the Ceremony surrounded by his extended family.
Also, the children were able to enjoy the indoor picnic at the Fire House on Flamingo Avenue in Montauk.

Company 1 Captain Donald Schnell, Company 1 Lieutenant Rob Lucas, Montauk Fire Department Chief Engineer Joseph Lenahan and his family, were also in attendance during the event.
2nd Assistant Chief Fritz โDutchโ Reige, Company 4 Captain Ken Alversa, Company 5 Captain Dennis OโReilly, Company 5 Lieutenant Dave Marmino and Company 6 Captain Ed Ecker Jr. were missing from the photos.
