Police: Woman Drives Drunk, Crashes Into Driveway of East Hampton Home With Drugs in Car
The incident occurred last Wednesday morning.

An East Hampton woman was arrested for after driving drunk and crashing into the driveway of an East Hampton home with drugs in her car last Wednesday morning, East Hampton Village Police reported Monday.
While on patrol, a local officer saw a 2012 Mercedes Sedan driving 73 MPH in a 30 MPH zone eastbound on Montauk Highway by Cove Hollow Road, according to police.
The officer stopped the car in the driveway of a Woods Lane home after the driver, Elizabeth Damark, 25, crashed into a fence, light posts, and shrubs, according to police.

Upon speaking to Damark, the officer noted her breath smelled strongly of alcohol, her eyes were red and glassy and her speech was slurred, police said.
She failed all roadside sobriety test, refused to provide a breath test, was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters.

Damark’s car was impounded for a prior DWI charge.
After searching the car, police found a marijuana, two small packages of cocaine, and a glass pipe, according to police.
She was charged with second degree operated motor vehicle while intoxicated, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, speed in zone, refusal to take breath test and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.
