Springs Resident to Run For East Hampton Town Supervisor

Springs resident Martin Drew announced recently that he will be running for East Hampton Town Supervisor, according to a report in 27east.

This is the third time Drew will be running as a write-in candidate and is the only candidate as of Tuesday, but current Supervisor Larry Cantwell said he plans to announce his decision ‘within the next few week’, according to the report.

He currently works as a semi-retired contractor, and an active member of the community by being involved in several groups including the Springs Citizens Advisory Committee, East Hampton Town’s Youth Advisory Board, a member of the former Telecommunications Advisory Committee and as the chairman on his Long Island Sports Committee, according to the report.
