U.S. Wrestler Rohan Murphy Visits East Hampton High School
Students wrote responses to his visit, saying his presentation was "genuinely inspirational and interesting".

East Hampton High school students were recently treated to a visit from U.S. wrestler Rohan Murphy, who has a unique story.
Despite losing both of his legs at birth, Murphy went on to have a successful high school and college wrestling career, eventually competing on an international level.

Murphy spoke about his life and the obstacles he has overcome.
When asked to write out their responses to the visit, students commented on Murphy’s presentation as “genuinely inspirational and interesting” and thanked him for “letting us join you on your life journey.”

Inspired by the presentation, another student wrote, “Even though it’s difficult to imagine life without something so seemingly essential, you taught us that nothing of the sort has to stand in our way. You’ve worked so hard to get where you are, so I want to work hard too and achieve something great.”
