Wellness Foundation of East Hampton Announces 'Winter Wellness Challenge'
The six-week program will begin the week of Jan. 19.

Wellness Foundation of East Hampton announced a new “Winter Wellness Challenge,” a six-week program designed to help participants lose weight, lower cholesterol and reduce prescription drug usage beginning the week of Jan. 19.
Weekly groups will be held in Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Hampton Bays and Southampton.
Participants will receive step-by-step guidance to create a healthy body and lifestyle through lectures, discussions, cooking demos, food samples and more.

The fee for the course materials is $150 and includes The Wellness Challenge Guidebook, Wellness Challenge Jumpstart Guide, food for demonstrations and tastings, and other supplies.
Prior to participation, participants must provide their location selection, their consent, their physician’s consent, baseline blood test results, a completed questionnaire and liability release. Registration materials must be completed by Jan. 16.

Since 2009, Wellness Foundation has sponsored Wellness Challenges on the east end, achieving significant results in weight loss and lowered cholesterol for committed participants.
