Farmingdale Woman Honored by Nassau County

Local resident among 12 recognized during Women's History Month.

Kathleen Bracken of Farmingdale was among 12 women honored by Nassau County during Women’s History Month.

“It’s my honor to recognize extraordinary citizens who have volunteered to help feed and clothe neighbors, keep others safe during emergencies, raise money for charitable causes, enhance the lives of our children and help protect neglected animals,” said County Executive Ed Mangano in a statement.
