Cops: Pair Stole $120 Worth of Deodorant in Massapequa

Police release photo of duo wanted in January theft.

Nassau County Police released two photos Thursday two people wanted for stealing a large amount of deodorant from a Massapequa store in January.

The two people, a man and woman, were caught on camera at CVS on Broadway at 4:50 p.m. on Jan. 9. While in the store, police said the two stole $122 worth of deodorant.

Cops said the woman was about 45 years old, 5-foot-2, and had shoulder length hair that may have been a wig. She was carrying a large handbag at the time. The man was about 30 years old, 5-foot-8, average build, and had a short beard/mustache. He was wearing a black North Face jacket, cops said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
