Nassau Cops: Pocketbook Stolen from Car While Owner Loaded Trunk

Several incidents reported near Massapequa, according to this week's NCPD report on larcenies.

Nassau County Police reported the following information:

  • March 18: Louis Avenue, Elmont; laptop, Mercedes Benz car key, miscellaneous paperwork stolen.
  • March 19: Northern Boulevard, Manhasset; laptop stolen.
  • March 19: Dave & Busters, Westbury; passenger side window smashed, items stolen.
  • March 21: Michaels Craft Store, Valley Stream; iPhone 6 Plus, Ralph Lauren leather vest, Adidas track suit, children’s clothing stolen.
  • March 21: Voice Road, Carle Place; blue mesh bag stolen.
  • March 21: McGregor Avenue, Roslyn Heights; front passenger window broken, pocketbook stolen.
  • March 22: Costco, Westbury; black bag stolen from back seat while owner was loading trunk.
  • March 23: 6th Street, Hicksville; iPod touch and towels stolen.
  • March 23: Estate Court, Woodbury; black duffle bag with laptop, cellphone charger, and sunglasses stolen.
  • March 24: Sheridan Street, Westbury; JVC radio and $24 stolen.
  • March 24: Eisenhower Park Field 6, East Meadow; computer bag, wallet, credit cards stolen.
  • March 24: Forest Avenue, Woodmere; car rummaged through and $20 in coins stolen.
  • March 24: Barnard Avenue, Woodmere; $20 in coins stolen.
  • March 25: Bernard Street, North Lawrence; passport and husband’s passport stolen by five unknown people on bicycles.
