Nassau Police Uncover More Remains In Freeport
It's the second time this week police have found a body in the village, and the third recovered in the last two weeks.

Nassau County police, along with New York State police and the FBI, have uncovered more human remains in Freeport — the second time this week that searches have found something.
Police began searching a wooded area near Commercial Street and Lakeview Avenue, on the Freeport/Roosevelt border, Friday evening. They continued the search Saturday morning. Police say the search led to what "appeared to be" human remains.
A tip led to the recovery of the remains. According to Newsday, officials said they believe the death was gang related.
