• Nassau Exec Urges Continued Caution As More Flooding, Downed Trees And Wires Are Expected (patch.com) — Garden City residents heard Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman warn that despite a lull in the storm, dangerous rain, wind gusts, and coastal flooding are still expected through Sunday afternoon. Speaking from the David S. Mack Center in Garden City, he urged people to stay off roads, avoid driving through floodwaters, move cars to higher ground, and prepare for possible power outages as high tides return.
