Artwork by Glen Cove Students Recognized
Connolly students' artwork selected in Parents as Reading Partners (PARP) program.
Submitted by Glen Cove Schools
The artwork of two Glen Cove students was selected as the official designs of Glen Cove City School District’s Parents as Reading Partners (PARP) program.
Connolly School’s Dana Levy and Landing School’s Carlos Rivas submitted drawings focused on this year’s PARP theme, “Once a PARP a Time,” which will be featured on materials distributed throughout the district’s elementary buildings. PARP is a statewide PTA program that asks parents to read with their children for at least fifteen minutes daily.
