Ben & Jerry’s will be offering you a free ice cream cone on Tuesday, April 14. Here’s why:
“Well it’s our way to celebrate and say thanks for another year of support, and we’ve kept it up every year since, spreading the peace, love & ice cream around the globe!”

The company has held a Free Cone Day every year since 1979. With a $5 correspondence course in ice cream-making from Penn State and a $12,000 investment ($4,000 of it borrowed), Ben and Jerry opened their first ice cream scoop shop in a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont in 1978.
You can find a Ben & Jerry’s in Huntington Village at 298 Main Street. This special deal is from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Ben & Jerry’s will be giving away free ice cream cones all day. Rules: Only sugar cones, and only one scoop, but you can order any flavor AND if you want to brave the line again, you can get as many free ice cream cones as you want.
