The Institute of Creative Problem Solving for Gifted and Talented Students is a tuition-free program for gifted and talented young Long Island scholars to experience the fun, satisfaction, pleasure and thrill of discovery associated with creative problem solving, under director Arthur Kalish. The research and technology program is open to students in grades 10 and 11, who have successfully completed the institute’s primary program. Students meet once a week and continue their mathematics research on their own or at their respective high schools.
