Police: Teens Arrested For Possessing Package Stolen from Huntington Station Home
Three teens were arrested Wednesday, police say.

Police arrested three teens on Wednesday who were found in possession of a package that had been stolen from in front of a Huntington Station home, police said.
Second Precinct Police Officer Thomas Perillo responded to the area of Evergreen Avenue and Adelaide Street after a 911 caller reported observing teenagers stealing a package from in front of a home, police said.
Following a canvass of the area, Perillo located three teenagers around noon Wednesday in the area of Lenox Road and Maplewood Road in possession of a package that had been stolen from a home on Depot Road, police said.

A 17-year-old male who lives on Depot Road and two 13-year-old males were charged with fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property. All three will appear in court at a later date.
Police are asking nearby residents to contact the Second Precinct Crime Section at 631-854-8226 if they have had packages stolen.
