Police: Two Arrested After Robbing, Assaulting Man in Southampton
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon.

A Water Mill man and a Southampton man were arrested after robbing and assaulting another man on Monday afternoon on Kenwood Road in Southampton, according to Southampton Town Police.
Police arrested Timothy P. Gallo, 25, and Maxwell B. Byrne, 25, after they stole property from a man after punching and kicking him causing contusions and abrasions to the man’s head and face, police said.
Gallo was arrested shortly after incident on Monday at about 12:30 p.m. and is being held at Suffolk County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail, police said.

Byrne turned himself in to Southampton Town detectives on Tuesday and is to be arraigned on Wednesday morning, police said.
Both men were charged with two counts of second degree robbery, and third degree assault, according to police.
