  2. Cindysnacks named Humane Long Island's "Business of the Year." The Huntington Village market serves vegan food and was called a "one-of-a-kind entrepreneurship" by Humane LI. "We thought we could give back to the community by giving people a place where they could shop and not be judged for what they’re consuming or buying," owner John Stengel previously told Patch. "It’s a very judgment-free zone in here. We wanted to give vegans a place where they could shop and not have to check labels, knowing everything is vegan, and have a fun experience knowing they’re in a safe place." (Huntington Patch)
  3. A lawsuit filed was against a Huntington Medical Group Doctor. The civil lawsuit was filed by three women who claimed Dr. Steven G. Wishner sexually abused them. "Dr. Wishner has gotten away with this for years," says attorney Mike Della. "The Huntington Medical Group, where he works, knew about it and, in fact, promoted him and they need to be held accountable." (News 12 Bronx)
  4. Check out the Huntington Police Blotter. The blotter has all incidents reported in the Town of Huntington from Jan. 16 through Jan. 22. You can click the link to see everything that went on on in your area. (Huntington Patch)
