Islanders Talk Teamwork in Levittown
Isles reps head to Summit Lane Elementary for discussion on teamwork, fitness, and positive communication.

Nutrition and keeping fit, teamwork and positive communication were the topics discussed during a New York Islanders assembly at Summit Lane Elementary School.
Arena hostess Dina Tsiorvas, ice girl Danielle Cinone and dragon mascot Sparky addressed the students on these important topics for a healthier and more productive lifestyle in addition to playing videos about the players and their tips for keeping fit.
In speaking about teamwork, Dina said, “We have to work together as a team to be successful.”

Dina also encouraged the students to get eight hours of sleep each night and to participate in one hour of physical activity each day to increase concentration and to live a healthy lifestyle.
