Serial Knife-Wielding Robber Moves To Suffolk: Police Offer $5K Reward
The man is connected to two robberies in Suffolk as well as five robberies and one attempted robbery in Nassau.

Police announced they will be offering a $5,000 reward for any information on the man who has been robbing several businesses at knifepoint in Nassau and Suffolk County.
According to police, the man has been attacking Carvel and Subway restaurants across Long Island since February.
As of Friday police have connected the robber to a total of two robberies in Suffolk as well as five robberies and one attempted robbery in Nassau.

In all of the incidents, the man displays a machete or large knife, demands money to be removed from the registers and put his hands on the counter, Police Commissioner Timothy D. Sini said at a press conference on Friday.
The robber is described as wearing a dark colored knit wool hat, a dark jacket or sweatshirt, a dark scarf or mask covering his face and dark gloves, Sini said.

He is described as a man of "uncertain race," 5-foot-6 (although in some descriptions he is taller), with a medium to heavy build, he added.
The following incidents were all believed to be part of the pattern:
- Wednesday, Feb. 15: Attempted robbery at Dunkin' Donuts, located at 4007 Merrick Road in Seaford. Read more here.
