Cops Release Photo of East Rockaway Bank Robbery Suspect
Robbery occurred Tuesday afternoon, cops said.

Detectives released a photo of a man they say robbed an East Rockaway bank Tuesday afternoon.
The man caught on camera is wanted for robbing Capital One Bank on Main Street at 2:16 p.m.
Cops said approached one of the bank’s tellers and verbally demanded money. The teller handed over an unknown amount of cash and the subject fled south on Baisley Avenue on foot, police said.

There were six employees and no customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
The subject was described as a white man in his 20s, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9, 150 pounds, and had blue eyes and a tattoo under his left eye. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and a white and multi-colored scarf covering his nose and lower face.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
