Crossroads Farm's Opening Day is Saturday
Event will mark the official start of spring for the famed Malverne farm.

Beloved Crossroads Farm at Grossmann’s in Malverne will officially kick off spring 2015 this weekend.
The farm’s big Opening Day 2015 event will be held from 12-4 p.m. at the farm.
After an official ribbon cutting with Mayor Patricia McDonald, the festival will feature fun for kids and adults alike.

Food from local vendors, including Antonio’s and Uva Rossa, and beers from Barrier Brewing Company will be served, as well as kid-friendly treats.
Hayrides, a bouncy house, farm animal petting zoo, face painting, live music from “The Verge,” farm tours, and more can be enjoyed. Spring flowers, fresh organic produce, local art, and farmers market items will also be available.
