Massapequa Crime Report: Barfight, Car Break-ins Reported
Nassau County Police report on crimes in the Massapequa area last week.

Nassau County Police reported the following incidents.
Assault
- Jan. 4: Paddy’s Loft Restaurant, North Massapequa; after throwing a beer bottle inside the bar, a subject was asked to leave. They returned to the bar and tried to start a fight with two other victims, one of whom was shoved to the ground and knocked unconscious. Subject was arrested.

- Dec. 31: Jerusalem Avenue, Massapequa; driver-side window broken, tools stolen.
- Jan. 2: Massapequa Diner, Massapequa; iPad, US Passport, laptop stolen from parked car.
- Jan. 4: James Funeral Home, Massapequa; passenger-side window broken, two pairs of sunglasses stolen.
- Jan. 5: N. Suffolk Avenue, North Massapequa; wallet stolen from parked car.
Shoplifting
- Jan. 3: North Babylon resident charged with shoplifting at Walmart in Massapequa.
- Jan. 7: Deer Park resident charged with shoplifting at Macy’s in Massapequa.
