Cops: Man Stole iPad, Laptop from Maaco Last Month
Police release surveillance photos of man wanted in Hempstead theft.

Nassau County Police released surveillance photos Tuesday of a man they say broke into a Hempstead auto shop last month.
At 5:45 a.m. on April 6, a man was caught on camera breaking into Maaco Auto Painting Shop on Polk Avenue, cops said. The man took an iPad and a Dell laptop, valued at $500 each, police said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
