Nassau Police: Batteries Cut from Cars, Designer Bags Stolen

Nassau County Police report on larcenies from vehicles in the region.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.

  • April 29: Roxbury Road, Westbury; wallet stolen from center console.
  • April 29: Broadway, New Hyde Park; two registration plates stolen.
  • April 30: Waterbury Lane, Westbury; $10 in coins stolen.
  • April 30: Oxford Street, Wesbury; handbag stolen.
  • May 1: Princeton Street, Westbury; car ransacked, cash stolen, subject caught on camera.
  • May 1: Park Avenue, Roosevelt; batteries cut from a GMC Savannah and a Dodge van.
  • May 1: Jerusalem Avenue, Uniondale; battery charger stolen.
  • May 2: Covert Avenue and Jefferson Street, Elmont; loading ramp stolen.
  • May 2: Northern Boulevard, Manhasset; radar detector, Go Safe video camera stolen.

  • May 3: Hausch Boulevard, Roosevelt; wallet, speakers, credit card, belt stolen.
  • May 3: Cedar Creek Park, Seaford; backpack stolen.
  • May 3: Eisenhower Park, East Meadow; rear window smashed, Michael Kors wallet, driver’s license, credit cards, $100 in cash stolen.
  • May 4: PAL, Westbury; black wallet, credit cards, cash, duffle bag stolen.
  • May 4: Cedar Street, Uniondale; $8 stolen.
  • May 4: Maple Avenue, Uniondale; GPS and iPod stolen.
  • May 4: Terminal Drive, Plainview; catalytic convertors stolen from cars.
  • May 5: Elderberry Road and Mineola Boulevard, Mineola; license plates stolen.
  • May 5: Buckingham Road, Cedarhurst; Garmin GPS, iPhone charger, prescription pad, and Le Sportsac bag stolen.
