HUDSON VALLEY, NY — 'Tis the season for giving back to your community. There are a number of ways that you and your family can help out through the holidays and help others.

Every day through Christmas, Patch will be highlighting a way you can provide compassion and resources to those in need.

Today's opportunity is for Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley. The organization is looking for volunteers to work directly with Make-a-Wish children and their families to help make the child's dreams come true through creativity and imagination. Bilingual volunteers are encouraged to apply to help Spanish-speaking families. Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley serves Delaware, Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties.
