Troopers Say Traffic Stop Led To Felony Crack Arrest In Mount Vernon
A 32-year-old Yonkers man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, according to NY State Police.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — The New York State Police said a rush hour traffic stop uncovered a large stash of drugs intended for the streets.
On September 7, the New York State Police arrested Richard T. Bailey, 32, of Yonkers, for felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree.
Shortly after 6 p.m., troopers stopped the 32-year-old's 2022 Kia sedan on Union Street in Mount Vernon for traffic violations. Bailey was found to be in possession of approximately 6.6 grams of crack-cocaine, according to NYSP.

The Yonkers man was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the city of Mount Vernon Court on September 19.
